Dai Cream ai King Crimson, da Zappa ai Soft Machine, è approdato al jazz attraverso la constatazione della ricchezza ritmica e poliritmica di Max Roach, Elvin Jones, Tony Williams....
Laureato al Dams di Bologna nell'81 con una tesi su Max Roach, ho curato trasmissioni radiofoniche per la redazione di Trento. Collaboratore di quotidiani e riviste, tra cui il Trentino, Alto Adige, Musica Jazz. Per questa ultima ho redatto alcune monografie, dedicate a Elvin Jones, Jack DeJohnette, Roy Haynes, Max Roach, Gerry Hemingway, Bobby Previte. Mi interessa la musica soprattutto come espressione di libertà, di creatività, di ricerca, di coerenza e onestà.
